Fireworks in London
(check out 4:19-4:22...it was like the stars were raining down on London...defo my favourite and most memorable segment of the entire fireworks display)
Last night's ringing in of the new year at Westminster Bridge was in some ways a reminder to myself that...
a) if I could survive standing for 2 hours at freezing point, I can survive anything
b) time doesn't stop and
c) nothing lasts forever, or is ever as bad as it seems

So, where to next new year's eve?
Auckland looks promising, Sydney is - and has always been - spectacular, Hong Kong blows me away, but I think it may just be New Year, New York?
